About Mr. Foot Care
A different approach to foot care.
Professional foot care should be more than a clinical task. It should be accessible, respectful, evidence-informed, and centred around the person receiving it.
Mr. Foot Care was created with that belief at the heart of everything we do.
We provide professional, nurse-led foot care in the community, bringing care into the home and meeting people where they are.
Because sometimes the biggest barrier to receiving care isn't willingness. It's getting there.
Why we exist
Foot health can have a meaningful impact on comfort, mobility, independence, and quality of life. Yet accessing routine foot care isn't always easy.
Mobility challenges, transportation, living circumstances, caregiving responsibilities, finances, health literacy, and other factors can make it harder for someone to get the care they need. We believe those barriers deserve to be considered.
Our in-home model allows us to bring professional foot care into the community, while taking the person's individual circumstances into account.
We don't believe in treating feet in isolation. We believe in caring for the person who has them.
Our mission
To provide safe, evidence-informed, person-centred foot care in the community, bringing professional nursing care into the homes and lives of the people we serve.
Our approach focuses on prevention, early identification of concerns, education, and practical care that supports comfort, mobility, independence, and quality of life.
We recognize that health is shaped by more than a diagnosis. Where someone lives, their ability to get to appointments, their support system, their understanding of their health, and many other circumstances can influence their ability to care for themselves. We take those realities seriously.
Our goal is simple: provide the right care, at the right time, in the right place, with the person at the centre.
How we practice
The way we approach every visit.
Evidence-informed care
Our practice is grounded in current evidence, professional standards, clinical knowledge, and ongoing learning. Good care means staying curious and using the best available information alongside clinical judgment and the needs of the person in front of us.
Prevention first
Good foot care isn't only about what happens during an appointment. It's also about recognizing risks early, understanding changes in the feet, providing education, and helping people develop practical ways to protect their foot health. When appropriate, we identify concerns that require assessment beyond routine foot care and recommend follow-up with the right healthcare professional.
Care that fits real life
Healthcare recommendations only help when they're realistic for the person receiving them. Because we provide care in the home, we can better understand the environment, routines, challenges, and supports that may influence someone's ability to care for their feet. Our goal isn't to give everyone the same plan. It's to provide care that makes sense for the individual.
Accessible community care
We believe appropriate healthcare should be easier to access. Bringing foot care into the home helps reduce some of the practical barriers associated with travelling to appointments. We aim to provide a service that's welcoming, respectful, and accessible to the people and communities we serve.
What we stand for
Our values.
Evidence Before Assumption
We base our practice on current evidence, professional standards, clinical judgment, and continued learning. We don't stop learning when an appointment ends.
The Person Comes First
Every person has different needs, abilities, circumstances, goals, and priorities. We listen, explain, involve people in decisions about their care, and respect their right to make informed choices.
Prevention Is Care
Early recognition and education can be an important part of protecting foot health. We focus not only on the care needed today, but on helping people understand what they can do to support their feet over time.
Care Without Unnecessary Barriers
Access to care can be affected by mobility, transportation, finances, living circumstances, social support, and many other factors. Our in-home model is one way we make professional foot care more practical and accessible within the community.
Dignity in Every Visit
We enter people's homes and personal spaces with humility, respect, and professionalism. We protect privacy, honour individual preferences, and strive to create an environment where people feel comfortable asking questions.
Community Matters
Health doesn't happen in isolation. When appropriate, we consider the person's family, caregivers, home environment, healthcare team, and community resources, including knowing when another professional is better placed to help.

The person behind Mr. Foot Care
People deserve good care that feels personal.
Meet Ravin
My approach to foot care comes from nursing: looking at the whole person, not just the immediate problem. That means taking the time to listen, assess, explain, educate, and understand what matters to each person.
Providing care in someone's home makes that approach even more meaningful. There's a different kind of connection that happens when healthcare comes into the community. You get to understand the person beyond the appointment: their routines, their environment, their concerns, and sometimes the barriers that make accessing healthcare difficult.
That perspective is a big part of why Mr. Foot Care exists.
